Chemistry Resource Center

Chemistry Resource Center provides free tutorial instruction to students enrolled in undergraduate chemistry courses. The CRC is staffed by highly qualified chemistry graduate students who meet with students via drop-in Zoom spaces.

Department of World Languages, Literatures and Culture

The Department of World Languages provides tutoring services to students currently enrolled in Language Class. Tutors can assist students in with working through assignments, preparing for quizzes and tests, or just practicing.

Economics Help Center

The Economics Help Center provides tutoring services, homework help, and assignment help for students. Students utilizing the Help Center are expected that have lecture notes, have read the textbook, and have attempted the assignment before seeking help.

History Help Center

The History Help Center is staffed by history graduate students and provides tutoring to students currently enrolled in history courses at UNT, a place for taking make-up examinations, and proctoring examinations when instructors are absent during those examinations.

The Learning Center

The Learning Center provides content assistance through its certified Tutoring Services, Supplemental Instruction (SI), and Math Lab programs.

  • Tutoring Services:  Tutoring Services is a free program, certified by CRLA and uses top UNT students as tutors. Tutoring is offered in a variety of formats and covers a wide range of courses.
  • Supplemental Instruction: The Supplemental Instruction (SI) program is a peer-led academic support program targeted towards historically challenging undergraduate courses. SI leaders are current UNT students who have previously taken these courses and successfully earned an “A” letter grade. These students re-take the course with current students and lead group-based study sessions throughout the duration of the week.
  • Math Lab: The Math Lab is a walk-in tutoring lab that provides free math tutoring for students enrolled in an undergraduate College of Science course at UNT (includes biology, chemistry, math, and physics courses).

Physics Instructional Center

Physics Instructional Center (PIC) is to provide students with the tools necessary to expand their knowledge of the world of Physics. The PIC consists of laboratory experiments, and a tutoring area. Each laboratory course is meant to give students "Hands On" exposure to the concepts and principles they study in their lecture class.

Technical Communication Lab

The TECM Comm Lab works with all students and teams of students taking technical communication courses on any class project at any stage of development. The staff is committed to helping students produce effective, professional, and purposeful communication that meets the needs of its target audience.
