CARE Team

The CARE Team is a collaborative interdisciplinary committee of University officials that meets regularly to discuss students exhibiting behaviors indicative of high risk. The mission of the CARE Team is to assist in protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the students and members of the UNT community, support student success and provide a comprehensive response to students whose behavior is disruptive to themselves or the environment.

Child and Family Resource Clinic

The Child and Family Resource Clinic is a counseling and training clinic that serves the Denton County community. The CFRC offers counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for issues including learning, emotional, and adjustment difficulties. The CFRC's purpose is twofold: to provide professional and responsible services to clients who request them and professional, competent training for graduate students.

College Optical Express

College Optical Express at UNT is a full-service optical office located on campus at UNT. It is the first optical office located on any college campus in the state of Texas. The office is passionate about promoting eye health care for the students, faculty, and staff of UNT by educating and providing preventive eye care and healthy maintenance to ensure each patient's vision will be maintained for the future.

Counseling and Human Development Center

Counseling and Testing Services

Counseling and Testing Services (CTS) consists of two inter-related parts: The Counseling Center and Testing Services. CTS provides free group, individual, and online sessions of psychological counseling to currently enrolled students, In addition to counseling services, CTS provides admissions testing, computer based testing, career testing, and more.

Health and Wellness Center

The Student Health and Wellness Center is the on-campus medical clinic for UNT students. The clinic offers treatment for injuries, illnesses, and other medical issues with convenient access to on-site laboratory testing, x-rays, and pharmacy services, in addition to offering health education services to keep UNT students healthy, in class, and on the path to graduation and professional success.

Psychology Clinic 

The Psychology Clinic at the University of North Texas was originally founded in 1972 with the purpose of providing professional and evidence-based services and referrals to clients who request them. The UNT Psychology clinic also provides professional and competent training to graduate students in the applied programs of the Department of Psychology.

Substance Use Resource and Education Center (SURE)

Substance Use Resource and Education Program promote a campus-wide approach to eliminate the abuse of alcohol and use of illegal drugs through education, intervention, and resources. Services include, Psychoeducation for students dealing with substance dependency or violations, support for students in recovery, walk-in resource room with books, brochures, and realistic alcohol and other drug information and Tailored drug and alcohol education.

UNT Dental Office
